Hardware location for Guardsman doors are figured from the top of the opening down to the center of the lever/knob which is mounted in the top hole of the lock box. Based on a standard 81" door, this measurement is 38".
Custom:
When ordering, indicated the distance from the top of the door opening to the center of the lock box.
Allowable location is center of the door based on the centered ordered opening height + or - 12".
Example: Opening Height: 83"
Center of Door: 41-1/2"
Maximum Height: 53-1/2" (41-1/2" + 12" = 53-1/2")
Minimum Height: 53-1/2" (41-1/2" - 12" = 29-1/2")
