Madero has searched the globe to find the best in finger-jointed wood door components. A paint grade product, it is manufactured by trimming defects from common grade lumber to make short lengths of clear lumber. These pieces are then glued into longer lengths and manufactured into jambs or brick-mould helping reduce the tendency of the pieces to twist or warp. They cost less than the stain grade equivalent because less expensive wood is used in the beginning of the process. All finger-jointed components should be primed and painted.
